Virtual Happy Hours

Recently, we’ve all become accustomed to what social distancing means. It’s important to remember that social distancing does not mean social isolation. Isolation is a big challenge in this kind of crisis, and now more than ever we must be proactive in staying connected to our family, neighbors, and community. Our connections will sustain us through this time of crisis.

To help you stay connected while we practice social distancing, try creating or joining a Colleague and Friend “Happy Hour” - I miss seeing my colleagues and friends. Reconnecting with friends has helped lower my stress level and usually leaves me in a better mood. I’m working to schedule a once a week regular video call with a few of my friends. Great platforms to do this include Zoom, Google Hangouts and FaceTime.

If you are interested in joining me in a "Virtual Happy Hour" once or twice a week, let me know in the comment section below!
