NEED TO KNOW
Montanans from Bozeman to Butte, Great Falls, and beyond need to see through their online sources and mailboxes, and hear over their phones, that Montana’s constitution clearly states every child is guaranteed access to a quality public education. Unfortunately, as state superintendent, Elsie Arntzen has turned her back on our Constitution and attended anti-public school rallies, supported efforts to divert public resources to private, for-profit schools, and worked alongside billionaire Betsy DeVos to defund public education opportunities for Montana families. Montanans from Bozeman to Butte, Great Falls, and beyond need to see through their online sources and mailboxes, and hear over their phones that Melissa Romano is a Montana public school teacher, 2018 Montana Teacher of the Year, nationally recognized educator, and mom of four. We need an experienced educator at the Office of Public Instruction who understands how their decisions impact our children in their classrooms. Melissa is running for Superintendent of Public Instruction to advocate for our public schools and ensure every child has access to a quality education. That’s why our teachers support her for state superintendent. For more information, click HERE.
